About Mary Jane

Mary Jane assists with multiple generational family wealth planning. Her strength is working collaboratively with her clients' professional financial and planning advisors. In addition to annual tax compliance filings, she consults with families regarding estate, gift and income tax planning. Her areas of concentration include family partnerships, trusts, and estate, gift and tax planning for transfers of family wealth. Mary Jane assists individuals and families with implementing business and estate planning strategies while coordinating tax compliance requirements.

A native Houstonian, Mary Jane graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Accounting and from Texas A & M University with an MS in Accounting.

She is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, the Houston Estate and Financial Forum, and the Houston Business Estate Planning Council. Mary Jane volunteers her time with her children's activities. She lives in Bellaire, Texas with her husband, David Ratchford, and their two children.
